This week we took a second look at Getting Things Done. We’ve been checking out a slew of applications lately that follow this task management approach. We review/preview Chandler, Midnight Inbox, Things, and OmniFocus. We also talk a little about using your email inbox as a to-do list. Let us know your thoughts in the comments!

This week we look at integration from the web perspective. We focus on enterprise and consumer level integration explicitly. Each of these has their own challenges and benefits and we discuss what those are.

Our show is called Kill The Desktop, so this week me and Matt look at whether we feel society will ever be able to remove themselves from the traditional desktop. We talk about the Internet and how it would need to look in the future to support such a major shift. This show is another where we disagree rather strongly. Download the show and let us know what you think!

This week’s episode is a preview look at Leopard, the latest operating system from Apple. We discuss our most anticipated features and talk about some of the early things that have been said about the OS.
We taped this episode a day before Leopard released… so yeah… we sucked at getting this show out quickly! Look for a kick ass show soon on a review of Leopard!
* Edit: Sorry but the original MP3 wasn’t quite the complete show. We’ve updated it so make sure you catch the last 10 minutes or so!

I saw this article on Digg today: Leopard’s Importance to Apple
Matt and I have argued this point a dozen times in the past. More so when the Leopard delay was announced due to “engineers being pulled from OS X to work on the iPhone”. Of course that’s a huge ass mistake in my opinion, if it’s even the truth. Apple can’t lose focus on it’s core business, which is the computer, not the iPod or the iPhone. I honestly think it was a marketing move to bring more attention to the iPhone. Think about it… it says that the iPhone is so important and so advanced that it requires the top engineers at Apple to focus on it rather than their biggest and most important software product. Oh well, Leopard rocks and so does the iPhone, I’m not mad about it anymore.

As you’ve noticed, we’ve decided to use Wordpress to power our website now. This will make it so much easier for us to post episodes, blog about technology things, and get some feedback in the comments.
So about those episodes… Matt’s hard drive failure has made it difficult for him to edit Episode 14, which is a preview to Leopard. We’ll have it up soon, I promise. Hopefully by the end of the weekend.
In other news, we had planned to tape Episode 15, a review of Leopard, this week. Due to my 9 month pregnant wife, my schedule has been all over the place and we just haven’t had the time to do it yet.
Sorry about the last 2 weeks! We love doing the show and will deliver some awesome material soon and on a regular basis again as soon as my son is born! Thanks for supporting us and listening to the show!
