The VMs for Fusion are portable to/from VMware Workstation on other platforms. I’ve moved several into Fusion from my Windows and Linux systems, and I’m fairly sure going the other way would work too. Inside the Foo.vmwarevm bundle are the same virtual disk image files and config files that you would use on Workstation so you just need to “Show Package Contents” and pull the files out…
